- Physical activity

- Calcium and Vitamin supplements

- Anti- Osteoporotic medications
These medications slow the progression of osteoporosis and is given to individuals after measuring their Bone Mineral Density. If the value is low, medications are started. These medications help in deposition of calcium from blood to bones and prevent their resorption.
- Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
Post menopausal women have a change in their hormone status which have a protective role in maintain bone health. These hormones are sometimes replaced after consultation with a Gynaecologist.
